Concretio, 2022
The Latin word “concretio” comes from “concretus,” which means “condensed, hardened, rigid, coagulated,” and figuratively refers to something “dense” or “dim,” with the literal meaning of “grown together.”
In this small series, I aim to visually express the concept of condensation and transformation, drawing inspiration from alchemical tradition. In this context, condensation symbolizes the materialization of subtle energies, the transition from a fluid and intangible state to a more solid and concrete form. Transformation is the process that guides matter (or the soul) through various stages of purification, ultimately reaching a state of harmony and enlightenment.
